Description
On the 5th of September 2019, Emerald Isle, NC, got hit by a tornado during Hurricane Dorian. It is one of our favorite beaches to visit and it was great news the Emerald Isle Bogue Banks Pier was not severely damaged but it was reinforced to withstand future storms. It is family owned since 1971 and a favorite for fishermen and tourists on the island. There is a great restaurant next to it ant also fine. I look forward to my next visit. I digitally hand painted this image to enhance the image.
