Artist's Description
We have had a drought and the a deluge of rain. Trying to keep our plants alive without enough water was hard and we lost many. The roots had dried up, therefore the plant could not live through the drought. When the rains started, many of the plants had stored enough to hold them over and were watered again and burst forth alive. This image is a result of this happening and it was fun painting the interpretation of this occurrence.
