Driving up toward the mountains and exploring old country roads, it is surprising what you can see. This old church is a log cabin type of building that is very old and only a wreath above the door. The Christmas like scene, was surrounding it with the snow that started to come down. I have taken the image and hand painted a lot of this in a mixture of software allowing me to get the effect I was seeing. There were no markers on the road we were on and so know it was in the Blue Ridge Mountains before you would get to Boone, NC.
