Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This image is of a male northern cardinal, one of our cardinal families that nest in our yard, who landed in the snow that had piled up on our deck rail. He was on look out as my husband had braved the storm to put out seed and he was watching him walk toward one of our feeders and looking out for other birds as well. I liked this capture of him, and to see God's magnificent creation of every feather, perfectly placed and his color and design, struck me when I clicked the camera. I only had one chance as he took off after this image was taken. It seems snowstorms are hitting the eastern US one right after the other, this year, as well as midwest. The southern states have been spared until these last two weeks, we too have had one after ano...
