Artist's Description
While walking through the forest on a trail, I noticed this butterfly lighting on some leaves and on the ground. I captured this image of what I believe is the female red spotted purple butterfly. The females are larger, wing slightly more curved and more brownish. I added the scripture John, 1:3, because this butterfly so reminded me of God's amazing detailed creation of all things.
