Description
African Gray Parrot Portrait. This bird was up for adoption in a friend of mine's bird shop. She fosters birds that people buy and don't want any longer. Many are just set loose having never learned how to fend for themselves in the wild. He is quite the talker. I have a bird or I would have taken him home with me. They are so intelligent and entertaining, but they get attached to you and want a lot of attention since they are flock animals, you become part of their flock. He did get adopted shortly after this image was taken and last I heard his new family were crazy about him and he is in a happy home and flourishing. I took some other images of him for them, and so glad that I could help get him a home.
