Description
During a visit to historic downtown Greensboro, NC, I came across this old barred window, that was set in an originally brick building that has been covered over in plaster and sealed closed from inside. The building was empty and was covered with vines and the plaster chipped in places. It made a really interesting image to me and I used texture with this image to enhance it's original texture more.
Old Greensborough is a great place to visit with it's charming revitalized turn-of-the- century commercial and residential district complete with antiques, art, coffee shops, specialty clothing stores, gifts and accessories, over 35 restaurants and nightclubs and three theatres offering a variety of live performances throughout the year. Parking decks are located in downtown areas of South Elm Street for convenience and the area is complete with old refurbished buildings into art galleries and businesses, and many of historic museum quality with vintage displays to see in their windows.
