Description
This tiger is focused on something that has really captured his interest. His name is Axl, and he is our resident male tiger at our Natural Science Center's Animal Discovery Zoo in Greensboro, NC. In this image, he is coming out of his den after sitting way up high in the shaded area. I was waiting patiently for him to come down for a photo opp. This capture is the minute his eyes focused on the people in the other glass inclosure, and also a red baby carriage, as it turned out he is attracted to them. Not to worry, we are all well protected and he is aware that we are but he did a pass by anyway. Getting a clean spot in the glass and being ready paid off. A Nikon/Nikor 55mm-300mm lens was used for this capture.
