Meet "The Cow Girls"!! While we were taking a drive in the country we came across this farm, and these cows were closer to the fence in the herd. We stopped, I got my camera to get some photos. My uncle raised Hereford cows, which two these are Herefords, in Kentucky when I was growing up and would see them when I went to visit him. We stood at the fence watching them and these two came up to us to check us out, probably to see if we had something to feed them. They were the adventuresome ones of the group I guess. What struck me was their eyelashes were so long they almost covered their eyes. I still smile when I view this image. I love animals and enjoy seeing all kinds and these two approached and were friendly. The rest of the herd was mostly under the trees together. This image was painted digitally with different brushes and I used a texture also to bring out the health and beauty of their coats.
