These tiny yellow mums were given to me in an arrangement of flowers and I really liked their fine detail in their close knit petals and sunny yellow color. They reminded me of pom poms. I took this image with a Nikon Nikor 105mm Micro/Macro lens outside with our dense forest of trees and shade in the background that gives this the dark background. The light was hitting them right and decided on this perspective. I finished this image in photoshop with a painting and brushwork added.
