This image is a photograph of the historic part of Wilmington, NC, which has so much to offer with its history and old quaint cobblestone roads, vintage buildings and fronts the Cape Fear River. We enjoy going, as they have a great number of art galleries and horse drawn carriage rides, riverboat trips and great restaurants along the Riverwalk. This image shows the Cotton Exchange and some of the older buildings filled with unique shops. The district covers some 230 blocks. This image was taken at sunset as we were ready to go for dinner in one of their restaurants along the river. As we went down to the Riverwalk the ferryboat was just going by with people waving. I great coastal city to visit and lots to do and see with all the beaches surrounding the city.
