In Calabash, are all sorts of seafood restaurants, and this photograph is of the dock leading to their fishing fleet of boats, for tours, fishing, shrimping for tourists and the regulars. There are all sorts of small shops that sell seafood, as well as other foods and ice cream. There are souvenir shops also. A fun place with lots of activity. Calabash is a small town located on the border of North and South Carolina not far from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and advertises it as the "Seafood Capital Of the World". I have to say, it is some of the best!!!

terrific Sandi -- I go to Hilton Head every year; grits and fish daily -- and, of course, dolphin watching. l/f

Now here's a place with abundant character and charm! No wonder you were compelled to photograph it, Sandi. I enjoy stopping in at these sort of places where I often meet some some of the friendliest people who like to chat about the weather, fishing, and best places to find fresh-baked pies. (: L&F
