Description

"Winter Pond" started out as an acrylic painting from a teacher who taught classes in this work many years ago and added my own digital touches to the image. So when I looked at this again, I decided to finish it up more on the computer to see how it would look. I really liked the added texture it gave the painting, the stroke work shows through and I enhanced some of the colors and added new touches to the painting with the brushes from Photoshop. With winter here, regardless of the date, it is getting chilly and sure we will have some snow at some point soon. Not much probably, but you never know, it is the weather after all!! I love painting and did that for a long time along with drawing and pen and ink, but now I really love combining the two with what I can do in some of the creative software's available now on the computer. The brushes react like the ones I have in my cups on my painting table.
