Description
This old deserted building downtown was over grown with vines and looking up at them spotted this old vent at the top of it. The sky was such a contrast I captured this image at an angle, giving it an abstract vintage appeal to me. Textures were added to enhance the tone of this image.
The area of our historic downtown, or Old Greensborough, if filled with buildings that date back to the late 1800's. It is considered an art district and many restaurants, shops, galleries, theaters and businesses are restoring these gems to their former glory. The first Friday of every month, these galleries are open at night from 6PM to 9PM along with some shops for Artists to show their work.

Outstanding capture, Sandi! I love how Mother Nature claims unattended man-made structures with her natural beauty and wonder. Fantastic sky too! L&F

Angela, this was a vent at one time, this building has been empty for a long time, built in the late 1800's. Thanks so much for your wonderful comment :)) Why it is so covered with vines I almost did not see it. Appreciate your Like/ Fave!!

That is a vent? I imagine it is covered over with leaves later... lol.. probably not a very efficient one as vent but sure is pretty! L/F
