This image is currently hanging in the Gallery at the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
During our visit to the Outerbanks, NC, a tropical storm had just left the coast. In this picture you see the shells washed up on the beach and just behind them is a 12 inch drop where the storm had eroded the sand away. That curve you see of water on the sand is part of a cut in the sand. The beach was restored while we were there. This picture is a favorite because of the beauty of the beach and the need to take care of that beauty. Also, it shows the power of a tropical storm and this one just brushed the coast.
