Description
This small Lily of Peru or Peruvian Lily has such a true yellow with reddish tips and reddish spots. The petals are delicate and textured and is perfect in flower arrangements or groupings of them together. This sunny flower trumpets spring is here and I am so ready for it. I used a texture and brush strokes with this image and a macro lens.

Beautifully spotted and marked perennials, alstroemerias, or lilies of Peru, are lily-like flowers with deep, thick roots. They grow two to three feet tall on strong, branched stems. Each trumpet-shaped flower is an inch or two in diameter. Flowers come in pink, rose, purple, yellow, cream, orange, and white and are spotted or streaked with contrasting colors. Excellent in garden containers and in flowerbeds and borders. They are long-lasting as cut flowers.

Hello Sandi! This is a lovely image of the Peruvian lily. I have not seen this color, though I use them often in flower arrangements. They last so long. The detail is remarkable and the post-processing enhances it. f/v Best regards, Kirsten
