Description
"Downtown Crossroads" is a painting in digital art looking from the downtown Old Greensboro historic district toward the business district including the Lincoln Financial Building just as this train was passing by. The railroad tracks separate the historic district from the historical area which has been refurbished into quaint shops, is a gathering of all types of art galleries, artists, and other quaint businesses. It has expanded and continues to be a major art district and gaining the old buildings are being restored into apartments and living quarters as well. The road you see is Elm Street, the divider of this wonderful city east from west. Tourists come from all over to visit and attend the many markets, First Friday art hops and other events. This image was a photograph I took and digitally painted using different brushes, textures and applying different looks throughout the image. Because I paint naturally, I tried to give this image the impression that it was done that way. I enjoyed painting on this canvas as much as painting on a physical one and the same steps were applied.

Well done. I can sense some speed here. The diagonal leading lines also add some dynamics which is good image design.
